Baron P. “Deuce” Braswell II 5K Run/Walk Against Teen Violence and Youth 1 Mile

In addition to the 5K run/walk and a 1 mile fun run for kids 14 and under, there are many other events to enjoy. Guest speakers will provide dialogue. There will be a raffle to win gift certificates and special prizes from various local department stores and restaurants. Listen to upbeat music provided by B 101.5 and DJ Harry. Enjoy guest appearances and fill up on tasty food and refreshments provided by on-site food trucks (Food purchase required, 10% of proceeds benefit The Baron P. Braswell II Memorial Fund). There will be post run food for runners/walkers with race bibs.
There will be lots of fun and entertainment for the kids, Sherry Norton. The Spotsylvania County Sheriff Department’s crime-fighting dog, McGruff, and Buzzy of B101.5 may make on-site appearances to meet and greet participants.
Canned and boxed food items and toiletries will be collected at registration to benefit the Fredericksburg Area Food Bank.
